With O2, Deutsche Telekom, Orange and Vodafone, Apple deepens the market game in the Touch Phone industry
From lainformación.com via cincodias.com and other sources, it is observed that the leaders in the market for the 3G Touche Phone industry and more, are moving contracts in the face of a soon-to-be turbulent market with more than 30 models which will be launched in the months leading up to December 2009.
Our readings indicate that the most potent challenger for the iPhone and the BlackBerry, which lead the Touch Phone industry, appears to be the Motorola CLIQ, but, whichever stands out in innovation will launch alone in a limited market during the coming season (see CLIQ an innovation...

iPod, Walkman and the Muses: a trio that delivers continuous surprises
There exists a good and attractive origin to the concept of the voice or “music”: according to the fantastic but in this case a bit disorganized effort of Wikipedia it is “the art of the muses”, the goddesses or nymphs, depending on the period. They are the beings who inspire the fountains of art. Between them is this coherent combination of sounds and silences. Currently and with a modern perspective it is accepted in general that music is a cultural product that is attributed to ancient Greece. That which is cultural is something belonging under current canons. It is well marked in the beginning of the Prolegomenon,...

Could this be a way of uniting the traditional press with the digital world? This news story, launched by BBC World and other media players, brought Harry Potter to mind and those impressive newspapers with moving pictures. This month, subscribers of the New York and Los Angeles Entertainment Weekly, will receive a magazine with images appearing on a two-inch mobile phone display, that will produce almost 40 minutes worth of television clips from US TV network CBS, as well as the cutting-edge publicity promotion for Pepsi Max.
The device developed by Americhip and known as ‘video-in-print’, works by using digitalised information held in a microchip. Like Michio Kaku demonstrates through...

Over the past five years I've worked off-site and online for employers across the country using email, chat, and web-based collaboration apps. My work life has been the envy of my traditional nine-to-five friends. While they suit up in an office-appropriate outfit, grab the briefcase, and brave a commute every weekday, I get to work from home (and my employers get to save money on office space).
But working with people in different cities and time zones with minimal face time presents a whole new set of challenges. While...

Was it merely an isolated case or a loud outcry in the process of systematic change?
In 1969 no one talked about the Web, Microsoft, or Twitter; they simply did not exist. Ideas sought channels of expression beyond the mere industry of mass communication; alternative channels that would generate enough force to provide recognition by mass media and/or propose their own paths to expel ideas and concepts. Perhaps Woodstock, besides being a festival, was a non-traditional method of expression that today the youth can carry out through the Web. The participants of this rock tsunami, which flooded the Western world, were men and women who today are between the ages of 55 and 75 years...
